White iPhone vs. Black iPhone? Given the choice, which would you prefer? If white was never an option would you care? User's can always put it in a case of any color. The screen is always black when not in use anyway. |

I own the White 3Gs, and I think thats the best looking one for that generation, but for the iPhone 4 I think the black one is best. I dont Like the white on the front. |

I would pick black because white gets dirty easily and you don't want dirt from your fingers going everywhere especially since this is touch screen. |

I wouldn't really care...I'M GETTING AN IPHONE :) (i wish) But given the choice, I would prefer black, as with all of my gadgets, except my MacBook, or future Macs I will purchase. |

Like they say once you've had black you don't go back, well at least for my gadgets. Even though white is a clean colour if its in my hand all the time it's not going be clean for long no matter how much I clean it. |

Black because that's what was available for pre-order and I've never been a fan of white (or other light-colored) portable electronics that show scuff marks, dirt and discoloration. |

I have the black iPhone 4, and gave my black 3GS to my dad. I was going to get a white iPhone 4, but I had some things that made me change my mind and go for black. One, is most people would agree that its too feminine, two, its a distraction on the front white part, and it takes away from the retina display. On the black the screen just pops more. Three, it may get that dull yellow color from being in the sun, especially now that it's glass, it will magnify the sunlight and make it dull out faster. Four, as another poster said, you can see dirt easier, but not dust. Five, it just doesn't match the steel band if you look at it from the side view like the black one does. Six, its just taking way to long for it to come out, and nobody likes to wait. =) |

If I had to pick one I would probably pick black. White would get dirty to easily. |
