Is wireless mouse good for gaming ?

I was playing Cs and suddenly i get soo irritated by the cord of the mouse everytime i move the mouse just by my hand the cord gets stuck most of the time, so i was wondering if i could get a wireless mouse for gaming but i can't decide if its better for gaming.
