I have been an avid reader for quite some time now, and although I generally read fictional / non-fiction books or magazines, I now and again decide to pick up a comic or two to read instead, but now I am more frequently choosing to read comics on my iPhone and using various comic book reader applications for the PC, as suits my lifestyle more as I can now read comics more easily on-the-go without having to carry them in a bag or sift through piles of comics to find the one that I want. So, do you prefer downloadable comics to traditional paperback / hardback comics? By the way, if you own an iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad and need recommendations in terms of worthwhile comics to download, I'd recommend Sysadmins or any of the other titles distributed by "Robot Comics". |

I like the idea of digital comics for the ease of use and space saving, yet only if the price is right. If I am going to pay about what the tangible comic costs I will just buy it. The idea of having a library of thousands of comics in something the size of a deck of cards is very appealing. Then you go to the bookshelf full of nice hardcovers, cannot go wrong there either, and if one is selective enough they should not take up that much room. |

Call me old fashioned, but I prefer reading the actual paper & ink media.

I have some in my Ipod and have seen a few on my PC like Spiderman Loves Mary Jane, but I preffer more to have the comic book in my own hands :). I love to read the comic books that my dad gave me from he was a child: The Special Edition of 3 books The Fantastic Four, I also like to read the japanese comic called Manga, the ones I like to see in the web are the fansubs of the new releases but I like more to have the manga in my own hands :) |

Also posted by myself on geeks.pirillo.com as a discussion in the comics group here.
A similar question to this one that I've just noticed can be found here: http://lockergnome.net/questions/7623/printed-comics-or-digitall, yet I think that the way that my question is worded encourages users to give a more well-rounded answer considering both sides rather than choosing one over the other without further consideration.
