Sorry to spoil it, but if you had a million dollars, you can't buy a Veyron, they are priced over a million.

I would get a small RV (the small ones are cheap and work OK

The best thing is if there any conventions or other multi-day events going on, you can use an RV instead of a hotel room (that saves money) (parking is cheaper than a hotel room)

I could never spend anywhere near that much for a vehicle.

However, I could easily spend $1 million on a variety of vehicles --

I'd buy a Tesla Roadster for $101,500 and I'd reserve a seat on Virgin Galactic's SpaceShip Two ($200,000) as well as reserving a seat on Space Adventures' as-yet-not designed suborbital vehicle ($102,000 ticket). I'd pay off our mortgage and other bills with the rest.

Something under $20,000 and then buy a home and other needed items and save the remaining $800,000 plus.

Trexa, a start-up company, plans to start delivering its versatile EV platform in 2011 at a cost of $15,999.

I'd buy a Trexa Electric Vehicle (EV) Platform ($15,999), then drape a 1994 Mazda RX-7 ($5000) over it. I'd sell the parts that were not needed ($2500). My own Electric Vehicle for under &19,000.

I haven't thought what exactly I'd do with the $981,500 in change.
