Do you like the game or even MMORPG's in general I like them a lot but have you seen how much it costs, like for WoW its $15 for 1 month and $30 for 60 days (or 2 Months). I think that is comparable to Xbox 360 rates. |

WOW is like other things, If one doesn’t use self control, One can become addicted. |

If it was free or a one time price then the game would be ok, but the way it is now, it is repetitive and progress takes a long time. The entire systems seems to be structured in a way that makes yous spend a long time trying to reach a small/ simple goal that is unoriginal and un creative all while making users spend a monthly fee. I don't believe in their $15 a month charge unless there adding $15 worth of new content/ gameplay experience ech month. For example, if the makers of modern warfare 2 wanted to charge $15 a month for their game then they would be expected to to add at least 5 new and unique missions per month to the game I don't see this happening with WOW. In general I like MMORPG games but I wont play one that is designed around slow progress and griding all while charging you a monthly fee to do it. intentionally slow progress, is considered to be filler content, just like games that have levers that are very large and much of the size is due to really long hall ways, then they send you on missions which require you to run all over the place. they then advertise 12 hours game play. But if you were to no clip through the filler running all over the place crap, the game becomes more like 6 hours of 5-6 hours of game play. |

Yes, I enjoy World of Warcraft and currently have a paid subscription but I am not playing more than once every 5 weeks or so due to time constraints and interest level. I look forward to the next expansion (World of Warcraft: Cataclysm) though. |

I'm not really into games like that. I usually play some kind of racing game. But I DID try WoW one time, and in my opinion, it was the biggest waste of money ever. For me at least. So I ended up giving it to my sisters boyfriend, and he played it for nearly 6 months straight. And that's not an exaggeration. The guy didn't sleep. He ate at the computer. Took all his sick/vacaton days off work. It was terrible. |

No way, that game is too much of a time waster. I mean, most games are time wasters but wow requires so little skill for the fighting it's ridiculousness. You could easily sit in a room with a high level character running a macro to grind a low level character. I think they should turn it into a fps and put modern weapons in it and simply call drops 'unlocks'... ...oh... oh... thats Battlefield 2. Bad Company 2 is basically an MMORPG that takes the grinding, drops (unlocks) and charecter enhancements of an mmorpg, but then they give you a bunch of starter weapons and a bunch of stuff to blow up and players to defeat. So much fun that by just having fun your grinding for that next weapon unlock. Wheras wow puts you in the real world, you have to go from zero to hero, you have to spend ages getting through all the low level rubbish to then get to the high level stuff which turns out to not be that much fun anyway because when you do hit top level you find it so boring that you simply delete your character and throw the game in the bin like I did and become smart and go to private servers where you get the same experience but without having to pay for it. The only thing I regret is that I did not invent wow. It's such a great cash cow and the addiction, well that's just great for business! |

I hate WoW for what it has done to some of my friends. They deny it, but they are completely addicted. The highest priority in their lives is WoW. They have become completely unsociable spending every free minute of their life playing it. And it's all that they talk about in real life. One of my friends was even in love with a girl, who was willing to take a chance with him, but he blew her off to play WoW about 10 times, and he still thinks he has a chance even though her and all of her friends are ignoring her. |

Bad points:
Off Topic Free MMORPGs are better than those who look for money. Quit WoW now. |
