I'm currently working on WicketPixie 2.0, which is being rewritten from the ground up to be more flexible and faster than earlier versions. The theme will the same for the most part, but it now makes strong use of CSS and JavaScript compared to the image-heavy nature of the original theme. 2.0 will make use of the new CSS3 standard, including border-radius and box-shadow (it uses JavaScript to imitate these effects on older browsers). This will cut down on bandwidth usage and improve the time it takes to download and render pages. So, I'm open to ideas! Let me know here what you would like to see in 2.0. Also, if someone has already responded with your idea or an idea similar to yours, please use the comment feature and voting feature to voice your opinion instead, so I don't have to wade through countless duplicates. |

I think using CSS3 and JavaScript will help dramatically improve your site, and the people who already use WicketPixie 1.0 on their blogs now. Sometimes it takes your site longer to load, I think after it's created it will be one of the best Wordpress themes out there -Can't think of really anything to add in terms of features, but I think it's a great idea! |

Could you make it a bit more "lightweight"? When I'm not home (I have a fast connection), it takes a lot longer than the average page does to load. That's all I can think of for now, if I have more I will post again :) |

I am trying to setup WicketPixie to run a blog on my site under Wordpress 3.0 with multiuser. WicketPixie works great when setup as the main blog, but I want to have it running on a secondary blog. With WicketPixie as the theme for a secondary blog, the 'Theme Options' page http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=theme-options.php for changing colors doesn't appear. Is there a way to get that option page to show up? The blog running WicketPixie will be accessed by more than one user, so I am hoping that the 'Theme Options' page be visible to all editors and writers, while the Adsense, Custom Code, etc pages only get shown to the site admin (for obvious reasons). |

Integration with the other plugins I use would be hot. Replace the need for these and I'm a happy guy:
