Hey guys how are you all? I was wondering, this is something I've been thinking for a while, if I should buy a new PC(w/e laptop, desktop) for gaming purposes and leave my current laptop( HP- Pavilion Tablet tx2000, AMD Turion X2 Ultra -Core Mobile ZM-80, 3GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics) for my university and do my work with AutoCAD since I am studying for Civil. Eng. and as a hobby I do a lot of Photoshop and work w/ Eclipse so games slow this down and I also use it for anime so that slows it as well.

So what do you guys think should I leave this laptop for University works since I think its better not to screw with the projects I do here lol

Thanks in advance for the answers!

If you believe it'll help, do it. You'll likely find that a desktop makes for more efficient use while you're at home. Unlike a notebook, however, they're difficult to carry around. Do what you want, but I encourage you to work on your grammar. University students are there because they want to learn, and you won't learn anything by denying yourself the chance to learn.

If I were you I'd leave that HP for working and studying, if it's possible buy a MacBook Pro using that Apple Back to School campaign which helps you saving up to $200, and finally install Windows 7 with BootCamp... I did something similar... except that my MacBook Pro is my primary pc now and I did not have the saving campaign... Take care and good luck.
