Well when it comes to Apple, iPod Touches, iPhones, it scares me to death... I once erased the contacts on my friends iPhone when I was backing it up. So I need some help about my iTunes account. I've been sharing an account with my friend for a while. No credit card registered from either of us. Just several gift cards. Well my problem is that if I want to make my own account what happens to the Apps, Songs, Music Videos, I bought on the Shared account? All the purchases were on my Personal Laptop or my iPod Touch. Does anyone know what will happen? Scares me that I will erase everything with my luck with Tech... Thanks for the help. |

Yes, if you directly click sync, it will erase all music on the iPod and replace with the content of your iTunes library if there is any. But here is a solution. All you need is to get all existing music/videos from the iPod onto your computer and iTunes. Simply use this popular program called Tansee iPod Transfer http://www.gutensoft.com/Utilities/Tansee-iPod-Transfer.htm The whole process is easy and safe. With just a few simple clicks, it will help you copy all videos/songs from iPod back to your selected folder on your computer, and then you can easily add those songs back to iTunes. See detailed guide. More importantly, this won't overwrite any original files on the iPod. And all song names are preserved. In this case, all songs/videos (both new and old) are on your iTunes library that you can syn with whenever you wish to without deleting any files. Here is step-by-step guide on the whole process: http://gutensoft.com/Guide/How-to-transfer-songs-and-videos-from-ipod-to-computer.htm Best luck! |
