New iMac or MacBook pro 13inch?

I need a new computer. My pc desktop is still running after about 10 years now but is getting old. I am running Linux on it and the only problem is it doesn't have wi fi. However I need a laptop because I am doing a lot of travelling this coming summer and autum.

macbook+one LED screen and you're done.when you need the laptop for traveling remove from the desk and disconnect the monitor, put in your bag and there you go. when you want a desktop just put the laptop on a cooling stand or elevator, connect the monitor and you have it. just my opinion P.S. you can buy another screen though. oh and you will probably need a wireless/wired keyboard and mouse
