I already have both an iMac (late 2007) and a MacBook (early 2008), but my parents have given me the opportunity to either get a 27" iMac (low spec), or a 15" MacBook Pro (mid spec). I'm finding it hard to decide which one I should get, because although my iMac is older than my MacBook, it is a faster machine according to GeekBench. Any advice?

Well, it depends on what are you going to do/need to do with it. If you need to move around, get a macbook. If you don't have to be moving around with it, get a iMac. If you want portability, get a macbook. If you want power, get a iMac.
