Can you name a movie whose trailer was much better than the movie itself? Sometimes, you discover the trailer is comprised of the ONLY really good scenes in the movie.

For instance, Comedian (IMDB http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0328962/), starring Jerry Seinfeld, movie trailer -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVDzuT0fXro**

I love the trailer, but the movie...? Notsomuch!

Haven't really seen a trailer that's better than the movie because the trailer contains the content that's also in the movie, so theoretically it can't be better. Btw the trailer that you posted here about the comedian - I would haven't went to the cinema to see it. Just my opinion!

There's a thing called rentals... I didn't go to the cinema to see it, either ;-)

And I need to elaborate since it's definitely possible for a trailer to oversell a movie and be better than the actual movie.

Mr Beans the Holiday. The trailer looked hilarious and absolutely great, but the actual film - in my opnion - wasn't good at all.

While I disagree, my friend is adamant that the Watchmen trailer was 100x better than the movie.
