How harmful are 3D Glasses? I remember watching 3D attractions Captain EO, Bug's Life, etc. at Disneyland, and the 3D Glasses were collected afterwards. Some people didn't return the 3D Glasses, and tried to take legal action against Disney for damages. They claimed damages to their vision. For those of you that are heavy into 3D movies & games, please share your thoughts.

I think it depends on the person. The 3D glasses I use never bother me. |

I checked out the Stereogram page or whatever it's called on Wikipedia, and the wall-sight stuff blows my mind. In all honesty though, 3D is for like a few seconds of viewing. Not hour long movies. They hurt my eyes and give me headaches. But this wall-sight stuff is really the shiz. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autostereogram is the page. |

I can only handle so much 3D. To me, a movie doesn't have to be 3D to reel me in to the experience. For example, if I saw a movie like The Departed in 3D, I'd be mad. Simply because the 3D and glasses themselves would make me focus more on that than the plot. 3D is fine for goofy movies or amusement parks but not EVERY movie that comes to theaters! |

There are combination between glasses and how the film was made. So far the industry is trying to standardize how to produce 3D Video. If you want to know the techniques, check this link from Sony. This is very explanatory tutorial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2KT1I_3YU4&feature=related Anyway the monitor 3d without glasses are coming...definitively 3D Glasses are very uncomfortable way to see 3D movies. please learn to edit your questions, there is an edit button underneath the questions content Thanks for the advice.
