well it depends,w hat are you going to use it for, dont just get one for the sake of having an apple product, because if you just use it for home use you will save a huge amount of money buying windows. so what do you need them for?

I'd say a Macbook pro if you are going to get an apple product. I assume you want this to do work and such on.

The Ipad can do most tasks but the deal-breaker for me is that it does not support multitasking. You tend to accept this with an iphone because it's a small, portable device. It's a phone...

If you already have a good laptop or PC then an ipad might be a good device to get but it's not a laptop or pc replacement.

The iPad does support multi-tasking. Apple's just going to release iOS 4 later on this year for the iPad.
