What if Apple, Inc. NEVER EXISTED? | How much would that change your/our lives? What kind of computers would we be using today? What Operating Systems (OS) would we have available today? What smartphone would you be using? ... etc.
Can you imagine a world without iPhones, Macs, iPods, iPads, Modbooks, Apple Fanbois & Fangurls, etc.? |

We'd all be surfing the web on our Xerox copy machines ;P |

If Apple never existed, it wouldn't change our lives at all. That's because our lives would be different... to begin with. |

i think i would cry my little eyes out to be honnest :( like really i would there products are just total sex |
|
Some tech would be different but there would be another company no matter what because Microsoft wouldn't be allowed to have a Monopoly (one business policy of the US gov that I like). |

If Apple didn't exist, there would be something else... |
|
There would be a lot of cool but underdeveloped technologies Update The entire technology industry would be radically different. For example Windows in its current form might not have existed because it was Steve Jobs who saw a new form of computing in what Xerox considered a failed project and what is currently known as the GUI. On top of that the phone industry would not exist in its current form as well. The iPhone raised the bar for phone manufactures and they are still no where close to competing with it (in my opinion). This also raises the question would Android even exist if not for Steve Jobs because Eric Schmidt, the CEO of Google at the time, used Apple's research to, at least partially, fuel Android development. |

I'm sure there could be something that could have succeeded and we would be saying, "What if Pear Inc. never existed?" It is interesting to think where the MP3 player and cell phone market would be right now. Computers could be a lot worse or a lot better than they are right now. |

I thought I'd revive this question from last year ...
