Which retailers do you feel are utilizing social media most sucessfully and engage customers and stakehoolders? |
|
ThinkGeek.com (@ThinkGeek) is utilizing Twitter and other social media better than any other online retailer I can think of offhand. I say this not only based on how they use Twitter, but also how they engage their audience and support geek events and websites by providing free giveaway items. I agree that ThinkGeek is amazing on not only helping but interacting with their customers and followers. |

Successfully? I'm not sure that any are doing it very well but I have seen that Best Buy is on Facebook for new ad items, sales, and engaging their customers with poll like questions. They are also on Twitter with what they call the Twelpforce for their customers to tweet to and ask questions to get answers from employees. All that is pretty cool but successful? I don't know. Just because you are in the social network game doesn't mean you're any good at it. |

My question is directed towards brick & mortar retailers. Thanks |
Do you mean to limit it to retailers, or are you interesting in which BRANDS people think are utilizing social media well? I can answer the latter, but the former greatly limits the pool of likely answers. :)
