Do you think that Apple made FaceTime open source because they wanted to see this in other desktop and mobile applications? Or do you think Apple did it to screw with Adobe?

Apple make something open source? HA HA HA that just as good as saying Microsoft made some thing open source. they may release API's and SDK's but it will not be open source.
the difference is if it is open source anyone can use it for really any reason and make modifications to the code, even on android, why would they do that? what they did is release the API's so people can build into it but still have to use the Iphone to do it.

I'm fairly sure that Apple's FaceTime isn't open source, and won't be for some time. As they said in the keynote, it's an open standard, which means that other companies and services can incorporate it into their existing services, but that is still far from being open source.
