The immigration process is quite complex. You can't just "give them the paperwork". It takes a lot of time and money to immigrate legally. On top of that, an immigrant must pass certain tests showing knowledge in the US government etc. Now how many latinos in Mexico have this money, knowledge, know how, and time?

(By illegal immigrants I'm assuming you're referring mostly to those along the Mexican border.)

Our tax payer dollars fund public services that they take advantage of. They are unregistered and thus don't pay taxes. We're paying for their education, public services, and now their healthcare (good god...). How does that make you feel?
