In your opinion, what company has the best customer service?

I personally have always thought that HP has had the best customer support for some reason.

Wow, I am extremely surprised you think HP has good customer support. I have had HORRIBLE service and support with HP in the past. I must say Apple. They know how to treat the customers, I went to Apple the other day, and some lady brought in a 4 year old mac and got it fixed within 30 minutes. I don't think that you can get that with any other company. Apple has always treated me well. :)

Well I've had good and bad customer service from so many places. For me, it's Les Schwab Tires, but if you're asking about computer based companies I'd say Apple. Apple has done so much for me, even giving me a free laptop that was 1 generation above the one I was getting exchanged, with much better specs.

There are likely others, but in my direct experience I have to give **Amazon.com the title of "best customer service". They have come a long way and made major strides. In my many years of dealing with them as a customer, they have ALWAYS made the situation right, even if the problem/fault wasn't on their end** (such as when a fraudulent/bad third party seller failed to answer any emails or telephone calls to address an issue with an order.) They have even been upfront and helpful when they have royally screwed up, such as one Christmas that was nearly ruined due to wishlist duplicates that were unknowingly purchased and gifted and shipping delays that were not communicated to customers.

They're not perfect, but they've proven themselves to me as a company I can trust to "do the right thing" if a transaction goes sour. I wish I could say the same for all companies and online retailers.

I have to say Logitech has had good customer service for me, HP coming in close behind. I've only had good experiences with them and I really didn't have to work hard to understand them and they were friendly.

I like Apple's customer service, because every time I had a problem or a question, they knew exactly what they were talking about.

Microsoft.

Seriously, hear me out.

I use tons of Microsoft products. I have never had to call customer service or tech support. Not ever. That speaks volumes. The best Customer Service is the one you never need.

If you mean operating system, then Microsoft, if you mean like manufacturers, Dell, HP, Alienware, and Acer are all good brands. I would suggest Alienware if you're a gamer, but if you can't afford that, an HP, then Acer, and finally Dell.

I have never had to deal with a lot of customer service but Apples is good I hear. And when my dad got me my Macbook Pro he needed to ask them a question and that was good.

Apple is probably the best, I had an issue when I upgraded my laptop (to a new machine) and their support person spent an hour on the phone with me to get my iPhone and iPad to sync with it and then even followed up later to make sure everything was still working.

NTB (National Tire and Battery) has the worst. My wife brought my car there for an oil change, they did a bait and switch claiming that the car required synthetic oil, without telling her first. She was naturally irate, and the person she dealt with basically threw the paperwork back at her and said good luck getting home since you have a tierod about to fall off. Interesting, since the week before when I got new tires there (and was happy) they didn't mention it then. Don't go to them!

Amazon or Apple are the best I've dealt with. Both companies have sorted everything out instantly and have been extremely helpful. apple DID give me a £600 ($940) free upgrade though...

The worst is City Link (Courier company). They are just AWFUL and so rude.
