it's kind of basic functionality on normal phone ( normal means not smart phone ), but i couldn't work it out on my top profile iPhone 4, anyone knows how to record calls on iPhone 4, many thanks.

I tried voice memo, it seems when you record, and then making a call, then, voice memo just stop for some reason. I just couldn't get it done, maybe there is something missing . just need help. thanks.

You could just plug your headphone port into you mic port on a recording device. Trying to get some dirt on some one? Lmao XD.

Here is an app that will let you do this. The only downside is that it is 99 cents in the app store. But for 99 cents, it is worth a try http://recordertheapp.com/

The Downside is that you have to pay for the minutes instead of just the app.

I agree 100% with the posts about recordiapro. I have been using this for a couple of years now and is just too convenient. Jeez, I have hundreds of saved calls from the interviews I've conducted! Can't say enough about it, and I have yet to see an app that does what they do. See a review of it here: http://recordsmartphones.com/2010-08-22.php

Another alternative is TapeACall (http://bit.ly/ZedFlg). It was released just last month, and is the best by far. Once you buy the app ($4.99), you're set. No need to purchase minutes, credits, etc. Users are free to record as many calls as they want with no limit on length. There are a ton of ways to share recordings, too!
