Toothpaste, and loads of it. I want to look after my teeth. Don't want to get a tooth ache like Chuck Noland and go so mad with the pain that i end up having a friend called wilson.

Food?

I doubt that you would choose food and fresh water over gadgets to survive.

UPDATE

I would bring a laptop with a solar panel on it

A satellite phone with a Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) -- http://www.rei.com/category/40002203 presumably, I wouldn't want to be stranded there for LIFE.

I love the outdoors, so I would NOT need a piece of electronics for entertainment.

Perhaps a cellphone to communicate with a rescue team. Then come home to a plethora of gadgetry. :)

I would bring an iPhone 4. I could text my mom my MobileMe login information and she could track me via Find my iPhone.

A way home. Maybe a long-range light aircraft? I would definitely want to get home, I'd go stir-crazy if I was stuck there forever.
