All of these substances have essentially been labeled as "poisons" or "bad things to eat/drink" when consumed in significant quantities. Which do you think is the worst for your body?

An alcoholic beverage? A can of Coke? Or a cup of black coffee?

Why did you not list death as result of alcohol poisoning. It's far easier to kill yourself with alcohol than either smoking, drinking coffee or eating a snickers or anything else with sugar in it,amazingly stupid article

I had a siezure that says sugar. But I suppose abused spouses will say alcohol and health eco hippies will say caffeine. Depends who you ask.

I don't think one serving of any of those options will really hurt anyone, unless they're diabetic.

Alcohol, Sugar, or Caffeine? Yes.

Alcohol obviously messes with the mind, sugar ruins your digestive system, and caffeine makes you loopy and plays with your heart.

In my opinion, though, none are toxic, so long as you don't take them to the toxic level, as r0bErT4u said. I have an unhealthy habit of drinking caffeinated soda, but I've been trying to slow down lately. I get muscle twitches, especially in my arms and my eyelids, from the caffeine, and my heart rate is abnormally fast anyway, so I really don't need the caffeine.

The worst thing that's happened to me is probably the money wasted on it. Next to that, the biggest medical thing that has happened would probably be diarrhea, but that rarely happens.

Oh, and did you know that if you drink a bunch of grape juice, you get green poop? It's weird. And fascinating O.O

A single can of coke is quite likely far worse than a single alcoholic beverage and/or a single black coffee.

What about 5 cans of coke and 5 alcoholic beverages?

You can usually drink more alcoholic beverages in a night then you can drink in soda, we can all agree that in moderation they are all not bad for you...

One alcoholic beverage can help with digestion. One cup of black coffee might help you make. I don't think there is any health benefits to sodas.
