Component Stereo Systems

I own a very nice Marantz model 2252 stereo receiver combined with a Kenwood auto-reverse dual tape deck, sony 5 disk CD changer, and Hitachi Turntable. What stereo system(s) have you owned? If you never have owned one, would you invest in one?
