I hear that the Keynote app only runs in landscape mode, so if the iPad was plugged into the Apple Dock connecter with keyboard if when you opened Keynote would it show up in landscape or portrait mode on the iPad? |

I don't have a keyboard dock, but I do have a normal iPad dock. I opened Keynote (which only runs in landscape so that the orientation of the slide is correct) and it remained in landscape even when plugged in. I guess Apple assumes you're not going to be doing too much heavy typing in slides to have to need the keyboard and dock. In Pages it makes sense though. You can always prop the iPad up in landscape with the case and use a bluetooth keyboard if you'd like. |
