What Movie Sequels would you like to see? | After watching & re-watching a bunch of movies, I began to wonder if those storylines continued in the form of books or movie sequels.

After many years, 'Superman Returned', then disappeared again. Like Stargate's storyline continued in the television series & some sequel movies. They made 'Lord of the Rings', but where's "The Hobbit" movie? What about a 'TOP GUN' sequel? I'd like to see a sequel to 'Pirates of Silicon Valley'. No Nightwing movie in the Batman storyline.

The Hobbit. They are working on it, but the pre-production is having loads of problems. http://the-hobbit-movie.com/

Most are being made already, I would not mind seeing an Incredibles sequel.

It would have to either be a good movie that can have a seamless flow into the second one, or a the kind of movie that is just fun to watch, e.g. Avatar. The sequel will be extremely entertaining, and at the same time the story won't be ruined because it wasn't great to begin with. James Cameron has essentially nothing to lose with the Avatar sequel.

The Avatar wasn't a great story? I disagree. It was one of the best movies of the year. In my top 5.

Well I guess it's not that it was a bad story, it was just completely unoriginal; which does, at least for me, take a lot away from it. Don't get me wrong though, I really liked the movie.

After watching the latest Resident Evil: Afterlife, it's left it obviously open to another another sequel.

Another "Lost in Space" movie would probably be good.

Another couple of Space Odyssey movies would be great, as there is 2 more books in the series. (2061: Odyssey 3 + 3001: The Final Odyssey).
