I was just wondering if teachers can get discounts on Windows 7? If not, does anyone know of a place where to get it cheaper? |

You can find out about the teacher discounts if you go to the Microsoft website. You can get 7 a little cheeper at TigerDirect. |

The best site I know about (and have used) is software4students.co.uk (also known as S4S), they sell legal editions of everything. This includes Windows 7 Professional, Microsoft Office 2010 and even Adobe Photoshop CS5 at extreme drop-down prices for students and educators. For example, Office 2010 Professional Plus is £336.99 on amazon.co.uk (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Microsoft-Office-2010-Professional-User/dp/B003CUAB4A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=software&qid=1281377000&sr=8-1). Meanwhile, the exact same software is on sale at S4S for only £38.95 (http://www.software4students.co.uk/Microsoft_Office_2010_Professional_Plus-details.aspx). It's the same for almost all of the other stuff too. Good Luck. |
