I recently downloaded an app onto my iPhone called "Distant Suns Lite". This app promises to find where the stars are on the current day in the current location. It also promises to tell which way my iPhone is facing and therefore, where the stars are. This specific feature will not work. Any ideas?

Well, I think this will only work on an iPhone (or just iPhone 4). It looks like it uses the GPS, Gyroscope, and other tools that are not in all iPhone, iPod Touch designs. For example, the iPod touch does not have a GPS (just some way of using the wifi data and giving a varied location of the device (not accurate) and does not have a gyroscope.

It is an iPhone 3G that is not connected to AT&T. Is there a way that this feature will work on this device?
