iPhone Restoring Problem

Hooked up my iPhone 4 today, downloaded the 4.0.2 software, and it told me to restore my iphone, cause it had an error(9). dont know what that is, but i tried to restore it, but that did not work. On the phone now on with apple right now, on hold. Anyone got some tech support they could help me with?

My only guess would be that you have an app installed that is interfering with the update. But that probably isn't it. What did the Apple person say?

well, its not that. its a hardware problem. something is wrong with the phone internally. goin to apple store tomorrow with an appointment. either they gonna fix it, or im gonna get a new iPhone 4, so im not worryin
