How often do you clean your pc ??

How often do you clean your pc ? And I am not telling like cleaning the dust. How often do you sort the files , delete the unnecessary ones or even install the OS . I install the OS on average once every 8 months . And I try to delete the files that I don't need right away . I hate to have a full desktop with a lot of icons so I keep those organized as well.

P.S. i clean as i go. i keep everything organised and defrag disks on a weekly basis, reinstall O.S maybe yearly, i have data on a seperate drive so reinstalling the O.S is pretty painless.

After most Updates & Changes | In addition to the Windows Backup Recovery ...

Full/Partial Backup
System Cleanup
Disk Cleanup
Defrag Drives
Update Disk Images, Bootable Devices/Media

This pretty much minimizes my downtime, in the event of system failures.

I defrag weekly in the background. When my PC starts to slow down I reinstall i reinstalled Vista like 3 times over the time I had it, Windows 7 I think will not require so many reinstalls. I don't have a secondary hard drive in my main computer right now so I have to copy the files over to my file server.

I have been using ccleaner to clean my pc, I am going to use some of the suggestions on this page. I was ridirected to this URL, because my question was a duplicate??? it's not even the same question, but since i got rudely redirected, ill check out some of the programs.

The reason you were redirected to this page is because one of the questions this asks is "How often do you...install the OS[again]" And that is the same thing that you were asking. It was not rudely either I post duplicate question the same way for everyone.
