Hi guys, The iPhone can be a great device for recording events or thoughts, with the right apps. That's what I want to discuss here. I've come across some interesting apps that I want to share. From that, I wish to create a list of the best journaling apps.
Journaling Apps for the iPhone
Do you know of any other good apps that will help you remember your first impression of "Inception", a year from now? |

Dragon Dictation is an excellent speech-to-text app. You can then export the file into your favorite word processing program for editing/formatting. A big plus, IT'S FREE!!!
EVERNOTE is like a Swiss Army Knife for note taking.
Evernote helps you remember everything across the devices and platforms that you use

Excellent suggestion. I even have it installed, but I think I dropped it in the wrong folder on my iPhone 4 and I'd completely forgotten it. I don't understand how is that related to a diary. |

I'm not a journaller so I can't really help with specific journalling apps you might want to check out. When I have thoughts or ideas I want to capture, I simply use the iPhone's built-in Notes app or record an audio snippet for myself. I prefer to expand thoughts and ideas on a device with a full-size or at least comfortably larger keyboard than the iPhone's small screen-based keyboard. |
