The screen of my Notebook turns white

Hello, I have a Compaq Notebook. The problem is that the screen turns white, and to return to normal, I have to get down the screen to look good then. If anyone can help me would greatly appreciate it. I don´t know if it can be the BIOS but ... Thanks haha!
