As new CDMA iPhone rumors continue to pop up almost every week, all articles and claims seem to point mainly towards Verizon. However, IF there is going to be a CDMA iPhone AND it's going to be released in the USA, Sprint also uses CDMA technology to power their network. So, IF the CDMA rumors are true, which carrier do you think would score the iPhone? Why? and which would you prefer? also why?

I vote for neither Verizon or Sprint, because my experience with CDMA / EDVO smartphones is that they SUCK batteries like iVampires. Apple, Inc. better make a hot swap backup batteries option. Otherwise, this will make AntennaGate seem like a walk in the park.

CDMA iPhones are almost here! How will the battery life compare to GSM iPhones? | With the iPhone going free agent from AT&T, I predicted it would be made available to ALL providers, sans any exclusivity deals.

CDMA iPhone 4 Codenamed N92 At 'Engineering Verification Test' Stage | We have heard several rumors lately about the CDMA-based iPhone coming to Verizon.

John Gruber of Daring Fireball who has a good track record with Apple rumors has revealed some interesting details about the CDMA-based iPhone, which is codenamed N92.

According to him, Apple is working on a CDMA-based iPhone, which could be released in January 2011.

I have been a loyal Sprint customer since 1999. So, naturally I would like to see the iPhone come to Sprint.

Oh God, neither. Both are horrible.

But in all honesty, Verizon. If that. Sprint is far worse than Verizon, at least in my area. Although Verizon has barely any coverage at all.

Seriously, people need to remember the little companies too. My little 5th-place wireless carrier, U.S. Cellular, is an amazing carrier with fabulous coverage, speedy 3G (even in the basement), and... no good phones.

We have ONE ANDROID DEVICE!!! ONE! It is a crappy CRAPPY Samsung Acclaim. It's been confirmed that the HTC Desire is coming this month, but I've waited the first half of the month saying I'm totally gonna get it, but it STILL isn't here. I'm about to give up on HTC with this one.

U.S. Cellular NEEDS a good phone. iPhone will most likely NEVER come to us, but at least we should have a few Android phones to choose between. We have crappy little Windows Mobile phones, a few Blackberries, and tons of flip-phones from Motorola and LG. That's it. We have ONE Android plan that is $30/month for unlimited access. That's just fine for me, since I'm pretty much guaranteed to have service everywhere around here, which is saying a lot, since I live in a VERY rural area. I'll also have fabulous 3G coverage when I travel, such as my yearly trip to Chicago, or the occasional Florida or California visit. It's a real shame that U.S. Cellular isn't a more popular carrier... But I guess that its small subscriber base forces them to be a better company, so I guess I can't complain...

Wow, I just rambled way too long and you don't really care anyway. Goodbye.

I would much rather see it come to Sprint's network personally. It could be truly called the iPhone 4G. It would help out to continue to boost Sprint customers. I've always used Sprint, and have been very pleased with there network in my experience. I also think it would actually be a better move for Apple to launch it with Sprint then with Verizon for a number of reasons. One of which being Sprint would do more to promote the iPhone 4G then Verizon ever would, Verizon dedicates its entire advertising on the Droid, so for them to advertise both the iPhone and the Droid, I couldn't see that working out...at all.

I would choose Verizon, because thats about the only service I have in my rural area and even Verizon's service isn't that great...but they are putting new towers up :)
