So I just came back from Inception. Loved the movie, it' was the second time I saw it. All the people in the theatre drived me nuts. All the eating sounds, horrible. I know it's fun to eat some junk during a movie, but when almost everyone is eating, all the sounds are just to intense. I know it sounds stupid, but when you start noticing it, it's all you can notice after a while. So, do you eat in the cinema or not? And, do you think they should ban eating (junk)food in the cinema? :) |
nah....i dont drink soda at movies either..all food is eaten(for me anyways) before the movie starts and you ll end up having to go to the bathroom during the movie. |
I don't bother eating or drinking at the movies, I hate it when people eat loud, it annoys me. I know how it feels so I don't bother. |
depending on how I feel, I may bring a small drink and any food I can fit in my pockets before heading to the movies. Never buy the overpriced food and drinks sold there. |
I never was a fan of pricey drinks and burnt popcorn. Well, I prefer to eat before I go to the movies. One small theater I occasionally go to has good popcorn, so I get it there sometimes. |
If I'm starving, I might eat a hot dog or share some popcorn, but I'm long-finished with my meal before even the previews start. The last thing I want to have to do is strain to hear the dialogue over someone's overzealous mastication. |
I usually eat something small at thew theaters. However, it's usually gone before the movie even starts! |
When I do go to the movies, then I want the whole going to the movies experience with buttered popcorn, drink, milk duds, bon bons, etc.
Sorry for your bad experience with noisy eaters. |
I never eat at the theater, too costly and messy, the movie experience for me is the movie so I eat before I go to the movies and spend the $7.25 and all is well. |
Eating at the movies is quite expensive. However, watching movies on Tuesdays and having some sort of a discount card helps. There is a Kernels booth at the mall in my area and popcorn there is much cheaper and the theatre officials don't mind. With all the subliminal messaging in commercials before the movies, and the smell of food from your neighbor's popcorn/nachos does make it hard to avoid the instant urge. |

Really, when people go to the cinema its for the experience of going the cinema, snacks included. ;P |

I never eat in the theater.
