Hi guys this is my first post on lockergnome so yeah. Everytng is written down with an ipad so please ignore the eh mistakes.

So today i wanted to backup my ipad's music using a third party Rogram called "sharepod". Ive already used this for my ipod nano and worked just fine. But anyway, yes it did backup my ipad. But when i opened itunes, itunes said "cannot read Sam's ipad. Please restore" or something like that. But the ipad worked just fine! And i dont want to restore cuz ive got 64 GB worth of apps, music movies photos and such. Is there an alternativerestoring? Or is there a way to back up everything on my ipad so after restoring it automatically syncs rverything back again?

Every anwser is more than welcome.

After you restore you're iPad, you will have the option to recover from one of your iTunes back ups and re-sync the device with all of your content and settings back exactly the way it was before. I don't think running those back ups is worth it at all. It's on your computer in your iTunes library isn't it? You can always back up your iTunes library (it's pretty much just a folder) on your computer to a separate drive.
