I am still using Windows XP. It's not because of my PC because it would run Windows 7 perfectly. But for me Windows XP is perfect. What are your thoughts on this? |

I have 3 PCs Two running on XP and 1 dual booting Win 7/Ubuntu 10.4. I can safely say I will continue to XP for a long time yet as its the OS I started with so many years ago and has been the most reliable of all the OS's I've used. But times are moving on I give it a year maybe two and XP will be completely obsolete with more systems including hardware not supported by XP. |

Windows 7 has a lot more useful features than XP, it's better looking and it's new. If you ask me, XP is a great OS but Widnows 7 is (not much but it still is) better. |

I still use it for the time being but I will be upgrading to Windows 7 shortly. |
|
I still use Xp and have weirdly seen more Xp products and systems with it pre-installed so we might still see it for a long time to come. |

My PC is perfectly capable of running Win 7 & I’m moving to Win 7 as soon as funds allow. |

Now that Windows 7 is out I see no reason for anybody to be using XP. It's seriously outdated now. 7 offers more features and looks a lot sleeker and it's performance (in my opinion) is just as good. |

Windows XP is much better looking than Windows 7, which is why I skinned my Windows 7 laptop to look like XP (I would've ran XP as my primary OS if the sound drivers would just work properly). Windows XP is a great OS is you want a great looking user interface (much better than Windows 7's UI) and great compatibility with both old and new applications. I still use it on some of my computers to this day. Also just because there's something newer doesn't mean that you must get it nor does it mean that it's necessarily better than the old versions especially when considering one's needs. Some people just don't understand that. |

I still use Windows XP. I like it more than Windows 7. |

Yep. Just can't seem to divorce myself from it. OTOH, no one's given me a really good reason not to, which is to say I have no interest in using Windows 7. I dual boot XP/Ubuntu on one laptop and Vista/Ubuntu on a workstation. Ain't all that excited about Vista, now that I think of it.
The only time I've interfaced with XP in the past two months have been at my school where they wouldn't know how to upgrade their systems if they had the cash.
