Who thinks the Apple Bumper for iPhone 4 should be a freebie? I just received mine today after waiting two weeks. It looks like it was designed to resolve the antenna problem. They should have just shipped it with every iPhone. It should not cost an additional $29.99.

I think that it should be an option, but I do not think that it should be free, because most if not all cases will work with the reception issue on the iPhone 4. I know of a lot of people that won't want to own the bumper. I think that if Apple lowered the price on the bumper to $19.99 that it would make people happier. I don't think that you should hate on a specific product just because it's not the way that you want it. Most companies don't give you exactly what you want, and Apple has done a very good job of making people happy (if it weren't for the reception issue).

I mean, I always intended to put a case on the iPhone anyway, so the whole thing isn't that big an issue to me. The way Apple and Jobs handled the situation, on the other hand, was poor to say the least.
That said, I think the bumper should be free or at least significantly cheaper, certainly not more than $10, and even that feels like too much for what it is.

It should have came with the phone, $29.99 for a piece of rubber is just outrageous. When is Apple going to learn? Yes their products are good, but that is way over the consumers head. $29.99 :(
