When I heard that Flash 10.1 was out for Macs, I immediately wanted to upgrade with hopes that Flash would be more stable and faster. I checked the models that were eligible for the update, and my late 2009 Macbook Pro was well within the models eligible for the update. So I upgraded to Flash 10.1.

Since upgrading Flash is now more unstable that ever before on my Mac. YouTube videos get stuck loading instantly. Safari freezes whenever there is the slightest bit of Flash on the page. The problems are endless. I need to downgrade, so how should I downgrade?

I recommend that if you are having Flash problems, that you avoid using Flash. The easiest way that I've avoided using Flash is using an application called Click To Flash. It's a very simple concept. If you want to use Flash, than all you have to do is click in the area that Flash would be (it has an image that it shows). That's been the best solution for me thus far.

That doesn't solve the problem. YouTube videos will still freeze when trying to load, I'll just get to choose when they freeze.
