Should I run CCleaner on my computer? I was going to run the Registry error and clean up feature on it, should I? From what I have hear it is safe. |

I have no power in me to force you to do something or not, but I do have hard evidence of why you shouldn't touch your registry. The main reason that you don't want to "clean up" your registry, is because it will leave gaps in it. Everyone knows what a hard drive is like when it's fragmented, and I'm sure that you don't want your registry to be it. |

No. What on earth would make it "safer". Defraging your registry doesn't really speed up your computer, it just deletes entries to make searching the registry faster. If you don't search your registry (believe me you don't) it's pointless. Registry cleaners are dangerous too. One did cause one of my PC's to completely crash a couple years ago. After that, I completely stopped using them. I don't miss 'em. |

I run CCleaner alot, it is very safe and it works well. |

Yes! is did at least once a week when i stille used windows, i now use a mac. but CCleaner is the best at what it does. |

I stopped using them a long time ago once I found out they could cause problems. |

I WILL NOT RUN IT NOW, THANK YOU!
