How do you set your purchased iTunes music as your ringtone, and if you can't do that how can I get more ringtones and can I get them via Apple?

You can make your own ringtones at mixer.com, and just choose from your itunes library of which song you want to make a ringtones out of. You can download the ringtones or send it as a text message. It gives the choice of how long it should be, where it should start and end, if it fades in or out. You can also adjust the volume of the ringtones.

You don't need to own music from iTunes to create iPhone ringtones. All you need is a .m4r audio file (the sound format that iPhone ringtones must be in). To help you out, here's a link of a tutorial that I found helpful to creating my own ringtones from just about any audio file (including .mp3's, m4a's, etc.).
Note that for this tutorial, you need iTunes 8, although I'm not sure if it works with higher versions of iTunes. I used iTunes 8.2.6 for creating my own ringtones.

You can either do it this way... http://www.ehow.com/how_2160460_custom-iphone-ringtones-free.html
Or you can do it through garageband if you have a mac
