OK, so that was just a fancy sciency way of putting it.

I drink iced tea in a glass. Several minutes after I fill it, the condensation on the outside falls to the bottom of the glass and forms a puddle. If I don't wipe it off, the condensation drips on me and my chair.

How can I prevent this condensation from forming?

You can't, it's condensation, moisture in the atmosphere, condensing on the cool surface of you ice tea. The only solution is to drink hot tea! Or de-humidify your room somehow!

get one of those thermos cups. there cheap ones at many random 99 cent stores, the cheap ones suck for the most part as all it is 2 cups molded together but it works good enough to stop any condensation.
