Why doesn't Chris use his Optimus Maximus (SP?) keyboard anymore?

He uses the Apple keyboard for the same reason I do. I am convinced it is the best keyboard out there! My typing speed has increased from 50 wpm to 75 wpm since using it in January 2009. Yes I've been typing a lot and thus practicing, but I swear it's just the most comfortable one I've ever used. I like how the keys are perfectly spaced and nice and clicky. The Optimus Maximus keyboard is not known to be that great of an actual typing keyboard (as plainly stated in it's reviews). It's clunky. Why use something just because it looks cool and doesn't type well?

The Apple keyboard is a bad gaming keyboard? That's bullsh*t. It works great for COD as far as I'm concerned, and it still retains the same clicky and light feeling that I've come to love about it.

One problem though, both the apple keyboard and optimus keyboard are not good gaming keyboards

Chris should try a nice high end gaming keyboard ($100 - 120 range). They work great for FPS and MMORPG games.

I doubt that he'd buy a high-end gaming keyboard, because he's not a gamer. Also I'm certain that he keeps this site going as long as he can.

The Optimus Maximus is a wicket keyboard, yes. But it's not the best keyboard for typing at all. I would rather get an G15 or a newer model. Yeah it has an LCD screen on each key, but I think that Optimus Maximus is a little bit of a overkill. Also the Apple's keyboard is: lightweight, small, wireless and it greatly improves your typing speed.
