Many people shop on ebay and I was wondering what was the best thing you have ever bought? |

Don't necessarily have a best purchase, but I did make quite a bit of money selling an old router that I had, almost got 50% of what I paid for it in return. |

The best thing I bought would be the only thing I bought on eBay, a pair of laser tag guns. |

My best (most meaningful) eBay purchase was a complete (unassembled) Space Shuttle stack and launch tower Revell scale model kit (see my Flickr photoset), to replace the one my father and I built together when I was growing up. To be honest, he did almost all the building, but I loved that model and it was destroyed in one of our moves. The model was discontinued years ago, in 1987 I think, so I thought I'd never be able to replace it... along came eBay to the rescue. I paid a pretty penny for the model (around $200,) but it's worth it. Unfortunately, I still haven't built the model -- I started assembly on it late in 2009 and have been too busy to resume work on it. |

My current pc, a SFF Acer computer that I've been using for several years now. At the time I bought it, only Shuttle and Acer made SFF computers using laptop components for a desktop. |
