Is there an app for iPad/iPhone that converts handwriting to text? I would love to be able to write freehand and have it converted to text. Typing is not my forte.

I really, really, hope you understand how hard and different it is to draw on the iPhone rather than on a piece of paper. Because you can't use a pencil or a pointed stylus. If you get a stylus for the iPhone, it will be a special one with a flat tip, so you'd have to draw straight up. And something I think is funny about, "There's and app for that.", because now, "There's about five apps for that.".

What are they? I do have a stylus for the iPad/iPhone. I'm really intending to use it on the iPad's bigger screen.

FastFinga > ***http://catalystwo.com/web/FastFinga.html*** is the only handwritting recognition thang I could find.

I use Dragon Dictation for Speech-to-text, then export to my word processor, eMail, etc.

I found one on iTunes. I have yet to try it. WritePad for iPhone/iPod Touch or WritePad for iPad

I'm still on firmware 3.1.3 ... I don't see the need to upgrade to 4.x

Like they say ... If it's not broken --- DON'T F@#% WITH IT!

btw ... I might check the iPad version of WritePad.

Looks cool, I wish they had try before you buy option.

I downloaded the iPad version of Write Pad. It really does work, but I think typing is just as fast.
