Geforce 8800 gtx vs Geforce 9800gt? which is better and why |

9800 gt since i own one and it can actually run Crysis on it on maxed out settings, (not big resolution). Nvidia is the best also with there last gtx 480! |

Alright, I asked this question a good year back when I was thinking of buying a graphics card, what I took into account was the price vs performance vs availability, and I ended up getting a 9800gt what i did gather from many comments the 9800 series is just a renamed update from the old 8800 series and performance wise give around the same stats, however for around the same price range at the time the ATI4850 was around the same price range as the 9800 and from what the community posted it was a vastly superior card, but having to take in availability I ended up with the 9800gt, sure it not a bad card I haven't been disappointed by it yet, but bottom line take your time comparing brands, models and prices |
