hello, i just bought an archos 5 andriod 16gb it has a microSD slot which im gona use with my 8gb card then hopefully if i need it a 32gb card but i have heard rumours that sandisk are launching a 128gb microSD card next year is this true?

I'm not sure about the development of MicroSD, but the new SDXC standard allows up to 2terabyte SD cards. Devices like the Mac mini already support this standard.. I'm betting MicroSD equivalents are in the works.

Couldn't find anything on their site. A 1tb memorycard or stick would be incredible handy (but prolly ffing expensive)

Well...the largest "flash drives" we have are ssd for computer..the are pretty big and I've seen ones only up to 160gb...I think a one terebyte microsd is awhile away...

there is a 1tb ssd out in the uk, i dont know about the us. there are also 500gb pci ssds

basically flash memory normally doubles every year so if the most memory you can get out of one SD card is 32 gigs then it's very likely that there will be a 64 gig card next year. But your tablet needs to support SDXC if you are going to use anything above 32 gigs.
