Exactly why I hate netbooks...they are underpowered laptops. You can't get a lot of FPS anyway on a netbook anyway.
Now that I put my hate aside, there's an application for Windows called Game Booster. What Game Booster does is close out of any unnecessary running tasks (be careful, because it can also quit your virus protection software).
Netbooks weren't made for anything more than simple web browsing, and a couple of other light things. My only other suggestion is to ditch the netbook and get a laptop that has some decent hardware in it (believe me, you don't want me to get mad about netbooks).

Personally I don't see why you're even attempting to play games on a netbook. Apart from having a small screen they're also under powered. I recommend you play games on a laptop with a decent GPU or just use a desktop instead. Netbooks and gaming? Definate no no!
