You'd think since Chris set up this website, and that it is a website generally for tech..you'd think it would have better support for mobile operating platforms.. like the iPad.. |
|
I agree. I HAD an iPad, and this site was so terrible I didn't come to it for months |

I agree it's a bit painful to use Lockergnome.net on the iPad. That said, Chris didn't write or commission the software that runs *Lockergnome.net*. It is running the open source OSQA software and if you have suggestions, bug reports or other issues regarding the software you can report them to the open source community of programmers at http://www.osqa.net/. |

I have no problems with Lockergnome.net on my iPad. The only problem that I experience is the page jumping around when I'm typing in text. I don't have much of a problem with it, because I know what I'm typing, and if I make a mistake, I will just go back and fix it later. 1
yes, that's what i was referring to actually. it just makes it seem painful to use. like that should be fixed, you can't read through what you typed to make sure it sounds right...with out going through excess work that is. but okay, i was just wondering if only i experienced that, or it was just a common thing. oh, and i just remembered, you can't post questions either, because the system to set tags doesnt work on it..... |

Yes we know using lockergnome.net on the iPad is difficult, it is also the same for the iPhone. Right when this site started, I noted that it is a problem and created a request for the mobile version on the OSQA Site http://lockergnome.net/questions/2323/should-there-be-a-mobile-version-of-this-site please support it by voting on it on the meta site on that question so we can get a mobile version. |
