If I got a virus in Windows through bootcamp, would it affect the Mac OSX part of it?

It should not affect Mac OS X if you get a virus in Windows. This is because the Windows part uses a different type of programming than Mac OS X and they are completely seperate from each other even though they are on the same machine.
