Given the advancement in technologies from the 20th century to the 21st, every area from medicine, to transportation, to weapons, to energy, to mobile technologies, to computers, you get the idea.. I can't even fathom where technology will be by the next century. Can you?

It's hard to do because we can MAYBE predict how our technologies we have will be better. Sure. But will they still even be relevant? We can't predict something that hasn't been discovered.. Maybe cell phones by then will be irrelevant, maybe cars will be, maybe who knows what will be! Where do you think we will be by the 22nd century? It's both slightly fun and excruciatingly painful to think about..

We can't even begin to guess. But at the rate everything is going, and thee fact that there's still 90 years left, I would say cars will fly, they may run on air or some other non-polluting substance, there won't be any heart attacks, and on average people will live to be 125 years old, just because of all the advances there will be in the medical sector of life.

Think of how far we have already came, and the rate we are doubling..even tripling our progression. Back 1,000 years ago, the average age was about 40 years, now we have doubled that thanks to modern medicine. However, in recent years things have been taking a turn for the worse. Notice how obesity has become a problem? Because of all these new modern conveniences and technologies, one hardly does anything physically demanding if they don't want to. Also, overpopulation and lack of resources will take hold, considering the population has already doubled in the past 100 years, we might be living with 15 billion other people or more by the time the 22nd century rolls around. So, in short, technology is progressing, but we are not.

Also, how are we going to solve all these "magical" problems we face today? People in society are, frankly, dumbing down, and our governments aren't really funding much of anything useful at the moment. It's like when you were a child and you thought as soon as you turned 18 you would be responsible, mature, and know everything, but was that the case? No, it was not, you had to work for everything you wanted, and that's how it is in the real world.
