Being in love. Love is a partnership between 2 people. Not 1 person commiting themselves to another while that person doesnt feel the same way. You need to love someone and have her love back.

Excellent answer when referring to romantic love. There is a type of love that's just a good that's more one-sided, that being the love between a parent and their newborn/very young child (before the child's able to really react in any way except instinctively -- eat, poop, sleep, repeat.)
