I haven't used grooveshark at all, and Im wondering what there limits are to it, since you can search any song and play it for free and keep in a playlist? How do they keep it legal? |

Since there is no download for free option, the site is not a file-sharer. It is essentially just youtube without videos. Grooveshark is completely free, unless you choose to opt in to the VIP service which is $3/month. This will remove the ad on the side of the screen, give you the option of several more themes, and allows you to download a desktop app for grooveshark. You can also use the mobile as much as you want as a VIP as opposed to whatever limits your platform has. I know the iPhone restricts you to 2 weeks and 50 plays. |

When I signed on the other day I got the option to have VIP status for a month for free so I signed up. The desktop & mobile apps are nice, but the online app works just fine. There are no limits to it that I know of, you can find almost any song on here, and you can create playlists and share them with people, and even save them with a free account so you can access them on other computers. |

Yes, Grooveshark is going to limit you if you are free Grooveshark user. However, you can always try with a few free extensions that may improve your Grooveshark experience for free. Go to this site and check it out. |
